Blockages

Blockages caused by sewage, excess paper, wet wipes, grease/fat and sanitary products cause problems in both old clay and new PVC pipes.

With newer designed toilets using less water with  every flush in comparison with older ones, waste is not getting flushed away into the main drain with as much ease as it once did.

Waterforce has expert experience in locating the problem, using high pressure water jetting and a CCTV survey camera to quickly and professionally clear away the blockages, returning the pipe back to being fully operational.

CCTV Drain Surveys

Our drain cameras can carry out a CCTV survey of underground pipes from as narrow in diameter as 32mm to check for cracks, roots, water ingress and locate blockages. Footage is recorded in HD and can either be provided to the customer on a memory stick or a full View line written report.

Pipe descales roots and cleaning

Overtime hard scale builds up on the inside of pipes, this can lead onto blocking the pipes and further lead onto bigger problems. It is common to find roots in older clay and plastic pipes, usually they have pushed through on pipe joins or small cracks. Waterforce can use root cutting equipment to remove these and depending on the severity of the damaged pipe we can offer a patch to seal over the fault.

Using CCTV drain cameras we can survey the pipes and use high pressure water jetting to work along the pipe and remove all the scale and manually remove this from the manhole chamber for disposal.

Pipe relining/patching

Broken and cracked drains, as well as, water leaks can cause serious problems, damage and create a very costly repair bill. Where possible Waterforce can offer a “no dig” solution by installing a patch over the area, or manhole to manhole reline an entire length of underground pipe.

Water leak detection/repairs

Whether you have a leak from taps, internal waterpipes or from the mains meter, we can carry out repairs. Waterforce are able to locate the leak, excavate if required and carry out an emergency repair.

Homebuyers Survey

Moving house is an expensive and stressful experience. With everything needing to be done it is often overlooked to have the drains of the property you are buying inspected.

If you buy a property with a cracked or broken drain and not aware of it then it will fall to the new owners to carry out the repair at their own cost. Cracked and broken drains not only cause blockages but can cause ground movement and even subsidence.

A CCTV drain home buyers survey is a reliable inexpensive way of confirming all the drains are working as they should be.
